My name is Jay; I am 31 years old. I currently live in central Arkansas.

As a child, I received a basic Vivitar 35mm camera for a Christmas gift.  I always enjoyed going around and taking pictures of about anything. This camera lasted until late summer of 2000 when it broke at a car show.  A few months later I received an Olympus 1.3 MP digital camera (remember that this is 2000). It fit my needs perfectly at that time.  I was attending car shows every weekend and development costs were going through the roof.  Later in 2002/03 I started taking pictures of trees, skies, my significant other, and items in motion.  The Olympus just didn't seem to cut it anymore.  Colors didn't come out right, and moving items blurred very badly.

In late 2003 I sold my show truck and purchased some Canon SLR equipment.  I am currently enjoying the outcome of this new equipment and wish to expand enough to make it self supporting.
